(COED) Seeking Light in a Dark World: The Gospel of John PT.2 6:30P
Dr. Tony Evans returns for the eagerly anticipated The Gospel of John: Part 2. The second half of John shows us the love of the Father displayed in his Son. In this nine-session series, you will study Jesus‘s last days, crucifixion, and resurrection. Through John’s Gospel, Dr. Evans will show us the heart of God, the one who is ready to offer us hope and restoration in eternal life with him.

The MoneyLife finance study is designed to help you overcome financial challenges to help you gain a life of meaning and purpose. It is a highly relational biblical financial study intended to create interaction among group members that will foster mutual support and accountability for the entire group. Many sincere followers of Christ, who are considered “mature” remain stuck at a level of spiritual immaturity – especially when faced with interpersonal conflicts and crises. It’s not possible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. We often neglect to reflect on what’s going on inside us and around us and are too busy to slow down to be with God. Discover a different approach to discipleship that addresses this void and gives you a powerful pathway to transformation. Note: This video series requires the purchase of a book bundle. (COED) How to Know God Personally
Get to Know God as He Really Is. Seeking to know God personally is life’s greatest purpose. Your connection with God can be so much more than going to church, reading the Bible, and attending study groups. Using in-depth scriptural studies, you will be equipped with the tools you need for pursuing an authentic and life-transforming personal relationship with your Savior. This is a great study for people new to Sunrise church (or any church), new to following God, returning to church, and all those who have followed for a while but feel stuck in their relationship with Jesus or want to go deeper.

Platform led prayer and worship experience intended to be a midweek recharge for the soul. Gather with others for a time of worship and prayer utilizing songs, scripture, and reflection   Songs will include praise music, hymns, and special music Prayer will be platform led and be personal, corporate, and in small groups Scripture will be incorporated into both music and prayer.

(MEN) The Book of Ephesians – 6:30P in Room 150
This group will give you a ‘Freedom from Porn The Ephesians is a book oozing with declarations of God’s love for His people. This love takes center stage as not only a theological foundation but as a driving force behind the way God’s people live their lives. In this 10- week’s study, will walk you through each chapter of Ephesians, helping readers grasp the life changing power available to them in Paul’s letter.

Even the most mature believers face dark nights of the soul. During those times God seems distant, his Word feels dry, and the vibrant intimacy we knew before seems absent leaving us wondering, “Where is the Lord in this?” In Psalm 119, Matt Chandler aims to introduce viewers to the words of King David who experienced similar seasons of life. Serving as the anchor for the study, Psalm 119 demonstrates the power of God’s Word in the lives of believers and its ability to provide a warm blanket for the soul.

We sometimes feel like we need to curate our emotions when we talk to God. But God wants us to come to him honestly, no matter what we are feeling or going through. Join Bible teacher Lisa Harper as she teaches from the book of Psalms looking at the variety of circumstances faced by followers of God. In this eight-session series, we learn how to find comfort in any situation based on this songbook of the people of God.
