1. Choose PARTICIPATION over ISOLATION
  • Share the danger of acting and making decisions in isolation (from wise people)?

  • What are the obstacles people face when inviting wise counsel into their lives? 
  • What are the benefits?
  • How can you intentionally invite other people into your decisions and actions? 
  • Have YOU ever helped anyone think biblically through a big decision?
2. Choose ACTION over ACCUSATION
  • Have you ever faced “accusers,” negative criticism, or people who hope you “fail”about positive decisions you are making in your spiritual life? 
  • How do you respond?

  • What is dangerous about defending and justifying every decision you make?
  • Share specific ways proven character over time can answer negative criticism? 
3. Choose DEVOTION over DECEPTION
  • Share about deceptions you have seen in our culture that seem “Biblical” but really aren’t. 
  • READ 1 TIMOTHY 4:1-2: What stands out in these verses?
  • Share the importance of knowing the Truth of God’s Word before believing everything you hear online about God and Christianity?
