Baptism

Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.

Colossians 2:12; Acts 2:41; Ephesians 2: 8-9; Matthew 28:19-20

If you have made a commitment to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, come and declare your faith in Him through baptism. On the second weekend of every month, we have Baptism Celebrations! Baptisms will be held immediately following the Saturday 5 pm service, Sunday 9 am, 11 am, and 5 pm services.

We have shorts, t-shirts (you get to keep the t-shirt) and towels for your use and the water is warm. Please contact Cheryl at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Note: Children grades 2nd-5th are required to attend a baptism class through Sunrise’s Children’s Ministry prior to getting baptized. Please call Debbie, the Sunrise Kids Director, at 909-875-5566 for more information.
