PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Sunrise Church in partnership with Moody Bible Institute’s Global-Contextual Learning (GCL) program combines the best of online and face-to-face education. Through the development of community-based learning groups, which will meet at Sunrise Church in Rialto, the GCL creates an educational experience that is academically rigorous, globally accessible, and contextually focused.
Students in the GCL will participate in 1.) the completion of online coursework, and 2.) an ongoing, non-college credit community-based learning group organized by Sunrise Church.

CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS FOR PERSONAL GROWTH
Continuing Education Units (CEU) are courses taken strictly for personal enrichment. CEU courses do not meet any college credit requirements. As with the "Community Based Learning Groups", students in the CEU program will also meet weekly at the Sunrise Church campus to discuss the weekly curriculum and participate in study groups.
CEU courses are developed by Moody approved instructors and theologians and retain integrity in communicating biblical truths and enabling students to grow deeper in these truths through systematic curriculum. Students also have the opportunity to earn certificates in up to six fields of interest.
Tuition is $49 per class and is to be paid directly to Sunrise Church. If interested in these courses, please contact Sunrise Church directly.
8 Week Terms
All of MBI’s online courses are 8-weeks in duration. Students will be required to participate in activities such as reading, writing papers, and online discussion with other students. Online courses begin five times per year (January, March, May, August, and October).

COST
For current tuition rates, click here. There is a small fee associated with the materials provided by MBI for community-based learning groups. This fee covers certain administrative costs and the cost of an online testing service utilized as part of the program.
FINANCIAL AID
MBI does participate in Federal grant programs. Degree seeking students may be eligible to receive financial assistance via the federal Pell grant. MBI does not participate in Title IV loan programs. For further information on financial aid, see www.moody.edu/financialaid. To request assistance for filling out FAFSA, contact ADMISSIONS.
