Make Yourself Blessable
"He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD." Proverbs 18:22
Every person I talk to wants to be blessed. Everyone wants God’s favor. They want the good things of life.
There is a condition to experience blessing. In order to be blessed, you must make yourself blessable. Becoming blessable is creating the right environment in your life so that you are ready to receive the blessings from God when He sends out His favor.
One area of blessing that many are not taking advantage of is in the area of our relationships.
The scripture tells us in Proverbs 18:22 that when we find a spouse, it’s a good thing and that very act makes us blessable.
In early 2012, the Pew Research Center told us 72% of all adults ages 18 and older were married in 1960; but today just 51% are, a record low. That means that nearly half of our population is missing out on a great blessing.
Many people say… I’m not ready for marriage. I don’t have the budget. I want to experience life first. I’m too young (tip… 25 is not too young). I’ve been hurt.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to wait for my blessings. I want my blessings now.
So if you want to be blessed… men, find a wife…women, find a husband… you will receive favor from the Lord! Do it TODAY!!!
