Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Sunrise Kids Ministry. This is an awesome place to serve and you will find it very rewarding. Every week, hundreds of volunteers show up and work together to create awesome places for our kids. Sunrise Kids Ministry is fueled by volunteers and wouldn’t exist without them. Each volunteer is an important part of the ministry team.
Check out some of the team players needed to have everything run smoothly:
- Setup Team
Helps setup the room before all services.
- Lock Up Team
- Cleaning Team
- Technical Zone
Help the service become a success through sound, music, powerpoint, mediashout and video.
- Meet and Greet Team
Warmly welcome kids and parents into classroom, help with signing kids in, help with wristbands and help new children transition into class.
- Teacher
Works together with a team to teach lessons to kids through stories, puppets, drama, games and object lessons.
- Helper
Assists the teacher with classroom activities.
- Small Group Leader
Leads discussion for approximately 10 kids during lesson time.
- Nursery Caregiver
Holds and cares for babies.
- Nursery Laundry
Takes home and washes used linens and blankets.
- Worship Assistants
Help lead worship for kids and be enthusiastic.
- Photographer
Photograph kids during services.
- Drama Team
Participate in short skits throughout the class time that help bring the message to life.
- Crafts Helper
Prepare the craft to be ready for kids, help set out and clean up crafts.
- Games Leader
Lead the kids in games and play with them.
- Props
Serve by using your artistic talents to help create props for services and special events. Creativity would be a huge help. This position is as needed.
- Special Events
Serve by helping with special events put on throughout the year. Helping prepare meals for Kids Night of Worship, play fun games with kids and even get a little crazy with us. This position is as needed.
