I remember hearing of a young man who went to a minister in great distress about his spiritual state. He said to the minister, “Sir, can you tell me what I must do to find peace?” The minister replied, “Young man, you are too late.” “Oh,” said the young man, “You don’t mean to say I am too late to be saved?” “Oh, no,” was the reply, “but you are too late to do something. Jesus did everything that needed to be done twenty centuries ago.”

The minister found this amusing, but his statement could be no further from the truth; Jesus did it all. As He hung in agony on the cross, sacrificially dying for all of our sins, Jesus announced the completion of His mission in His final last three words on Calvary, “It Is Finish”. Jesus paid the ultimate price for our salvation.
There is nothing humanly possible a person can do to gain eternal salvation except repent and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, before you are destined to die. God wishes for all people to come to faith and be saved. He desires that none perish. It’s never too late to be saved, if you do it before it’s too late. Don’t wait for tomorrow because tomorrow may be too late.
God is Patient
"The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." 2 Peter 3:9
God is Love
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8
Jesus Did it All
"He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2:2
Jesus Paid it All
I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”
Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
Jesus washed it white as snow.
