Gospel Choir
Our large Gospel Choir provides high energy praise and worship and special music for our weekend worship services and special events. The Gospel Choir is a great place to get started in vocal ministry at Sunrise Church. It is also a great place to meet new friends and develop Godly relationships. More than music, we are a family!
The Sunrise Gospel Choir generally performs twice a month at the weekend services (Saturday 6:30 PM, Sunday 9 AM and 11 AM) with powerful, contemporary and diverse songs.
Gospel Choir rehearses on Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in Rooms 224-228. Special rehearsals will be scheduled for special events such as Worship Nights, Christmas and Easter services.
The Sunrise Gospel Choir has been honored to sing in concert with CeCe Winans, Salvador, Mary Mary, and Selah. We have also been privileged to share our music in our local community at Cal State San Bernardino, and singing the national anthem at The San Bernardino 66's and The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes baseball games.
If you love to sing, we would love to have you come and join us for a time of celebrating and worship through song! You are welcome to consider joining the choir at any point during the year.
No experience necessary!
Basic Requirements
- Must be a regular attendee of Sunrise Church and consider Sunrise your church home
- Must be 12 years of age or older
- Must be able to carry a tune
- Must be willing to commit to a year of service in the choir
