What is the history of Sunrise Church?

Sunrise Church began in 1956 when a group of visionary believers gathered together to plant a church in Rialto California. Since that time the church has grown to over 5,000 people. Sunrise Ontario began in January of 2008 as an extension ministry of Sunrise Church.

Who are the pastors?

Our campus pastor is David Gaunt. The senior pastor of Sunrise Church is Jay Pankratz.

How do I get involved?

By attending one of our Discovery Classes or groups. You may also contact the church for other opportunities.

What is a "multi-site" church?

A multi-site church like Sunrise Church is one church in two or more locations. Currently, Sunrise Church meets in three locations, Rialto, Wrightwood, and now Ontario.

What's the worship style at Sunrise Ontario?

Sunrise Ontario has a contemporary service at 11:00 a.m., and also Traditions, a service with spirited hymns and praise songs that meets at 9:00 a.m. Of course, both services teach the Word of God.

How do I dress?

Sunrise Church is more concerned about connecting people to God than what they wear to church. Many of our people dress casually.
