What are the people like at Sunrise?

People from all backgrounds, ethnicities, age groups, and income levels call Sunrise Church their home.

What's the worship music like?

Our church has a contemporary, energetic and dynamic musical style that uses different styles and genres of music to create an atmosphere that invites people from every generation, ethnicity and background to worship God.

What's the teaching like?

The mesages are true to God's Word and relevant to where people are at.  The teaching at Sunrise leads people to connect with God and grow in their faith.

How should I dress?

Dress appropriate for being in church.  Some may wear jeans and a t-shirt; others a suit and tie.

Will I be asked to do or say anything publicly?

No, just relax and focus on God.

How big is Sunrise Church?

Collectively, Sunrise Church is over 5,000 in attendance.  The High Desert Campus is a recent launch of just under 400.

Do you have a Spanish Service?

Yes.  The Spanish service meets at 1:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.

What is a "multi-site" church?

A multi-site church like Sunrise Church is one church in two or more locations.  Currently, Sunrise Church meets in six locations:  Rialto, South Rialto, Wrightwood, Ontario, Banning, and most recently, Victorville.

How do I get involved?

Come to church.  Speak to someone at the Coming to God Table.  Sign-up for 1-1 Discipleship at that table.  Attend our Discovery, Equipping, and Leadership class.  Join a Community Group.  Check the bulletin for dates, times, and contacts.

Is Sunrise Church affiliated with any organization or denomination?

Sunrise Church does not formally belong to a denomination; however, we do affiliate with Southern Baptist Convention.

What is the leadership structure at Sunrise Church?

Sunrise Church is led by a godly group of Elders.

How can I begin a spiritual relationship with God?

You must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.  We can help you get to know God.  If you stop by the Coming to God Table, we'll pray with you and give you a "Coming to God" packet which will help you in your beginning steps.
