Crossfit - Day 7 - Christ is the Source of Spiritual Growth and Strength
Begin your time with God in prayer.
Praise God for who He is. Confess any sin so that nothing blocks your fellowship with Him. Ask God to use the Spirit and the Word to transform your life.
Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart.
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." Colossians 2:6-7
"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers." Psalm 1:1-3
"His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." 2 Peter 1:3
· What excuses do you make for not growing in Christ or relying on Him to help you grow?
· What can you do to send your spiritual roots deeper (Psalm 1:1-3)?
· Ask God to give you the power to pursue godliness today.
Father, thank you for giving me everything I need for life and godliness. Forgive me for ignoring the opportunities You have given me to grow in Christ. Help me to tap into Your power and commit to continue to grow. Amen.
