Crossfit - Day 21 - Be Strong in Your Spiritual Resources

Begin your time with God in prayer.

Praise God for who He is.  Confess any sin so that nothing blocks your fellowship with Him.  Ask God to use the Spirit and the Word to transform your life.

Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart.

"Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified."  Acts 20:32

"… be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."  Ephesians 5:18b-20

"From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work."  Ephesians 4:16

". . . see that you also excel in this grace of giving."  2 Corinthians 8:7b

We must daily seek the resources that come from God’s grace.

·  What distracts you from reading your Bible daily?  When can you fit reading the Bible into your day?

·  In what areas do you resist the Holy Spirit’s leading?  Seek His guidance and rely on His strength today.

·  Evaluate your involvement in the church.  Where are you plugging in so you can be built up?  What ministry have you committed to so you can fulfill your part?  Connecting to Ministry starts September 22nd.

·  Ask God to give you a generous heart so you can excel in giving both to God and others.

Father, thank you for all the resources You have given to me which will enable me to endure.  Forgive me for relying on my resources and my plans.  Let Your Word and Your Spirit build me up and guide me today.  Help me to be faithful to fulfill my part in Your Church and to excel in giving.  Your Word says I can do everything through You who gives me strength.  Amen.
