"In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit." Isaiah 27:6
Throughout our life, we all face choices and we can either flourish or shrivel. When we shrivel, God’s kingdom does not flourish. In contrast, when we recall God’s promises, trust Him daily, and reach out to others to accomplish His will, we will blossom. During the hardest and most lonely days of our lives, we can grow our roots deep into God’s wellspring and blossom where He plants us, or we can wither and surrender to hopelessness when we encounter difficulty and darkness.
Wherever we are today, God has truly given us an opportunity to blossom. Moreover, He’s teaching us the meaning behind expressions like, “I am the vine …. remain in Me”, “grow in the Lord” and He helps us to implement them in our daily life. In your ministry, your neighborhood or your hard place, believe God’s words and His promises, grow your roots and blossom for Him. He calls us all to do something beyond our familiar soil. What choice will you make in your hard place today? What’s keeping you from that calling today? Find your place and bloom!
