"Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book. Revelation 22:7
Begin your time with God in prayer:
Praise God for who He is. Confess any sin so that nothing blocks your fellowship with Him. Ask God to use the Spirit and the Word to transform your life. Yield your will to God’s will.
Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart:
Read Revelation 14:1-13
Who is standing before the Lamb and what was unique about them (vs.1)?
How did John describe the character of the 144,000 (vs. 4-5)?
What was the angel doing in verse 6? Why (vs.7)?
What are the consequences of receiving the mark of the beast (vs. 10-11)?
What are believers called to do while the angels proclaim the Gospel (12)?
Why are those who die in the Lord blessed from that time forward (vs.13)?
The end is now very near. The angel goes out one last time with Gospel to try to get unbelievers to turn to God before the judgment comes.
Apply God’s Word to your life:
· What will you do today to develop godly character?
· Be praying for those who do not know Jesus.
· Ask God for the boldness to tell others about Jesus.
· Rely on God for patient endurance until Jesus comes back.
Father, thank you for drawing me into a relationship with Jesus. Help me to develop godly character and patient endurance. Help me share Jesus with those who do not yet know You. God, I surrender my will to Your will. Lead me through my day. Let Your love flow through me to the lost. Amen.
