40 Days of Prophecy - January 12, 2016 - Worthy of our Worship

Begin your time with God in prayer:
Praise God for who He is. Confess any sin so that nothing blocks your fellowship with Him. Ask God to use the Spirit and the Word to transform your life. Yield your will to God’s will.

Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart:

Read Revelation 4:6-11

Make a list of all the character qualities God is praised for in these verses.
How would taking the time to think about each of these attributes increase your knowledge of God and your ability to trust God?

"Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created."  Revelation 4:11

God is worthy of our worship and one day the church, composed of all believers, will be together worshiping God in heaven. The more we get to know God through His Word, the more we will be drawn to worship Him.

Apply God’s Word to your life:
· Spend a few minutes meditating on the verses below.
· Praise God for who He is.
· How will you step out in faith today trusting our Almighty God?
· Live today as an act of worship before your God.

Father, I praise You for being a good, loving and holy God. You created everything that is and You are sovereign over everything. Help me get to know You so that my natural response to You will be one of worship and surrender. Amen.
