Begin your time with God in prayer:
Praise God for who He is. Confess any sin so that nothing blocks your fellowship with Him. Ask God to use the Spirit and the Word to transform your life. Yield your will to God’s will.
Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart:
Read Revelation 22:17-21
What do the Spirit and bride say (vs. 17)?
What should those who hear the Lamb and the Spirit say “Come” say (vs. 17)? To whom?
What are the consequences to adding or taking away from this Book of Prophecy (vs. 18-19)?
What does Jesus testify to in verse 20?
What is John’s response to Jesus’ claim that He is coming soon (vs. 20)?
Apply God’s Word to your life:
· Come to Jesus if you haven’t already given Him your life.
· Honor and protect the Word of God.
· Extend the invitation to come to Jesus because Jesus is coming soon.
· Live in anticipation of Christ’s return.
Father, thank you for giving us Your Word. Forgive me for all the times I have held back from telling people about Jesus. Renew my heart. Help me to care about those who don’t know You. Give me the boldness to reach out to them with Your love. Amen.
