Begin your time with God in prayer.
Begin your time with praise to God. Confess any sin that might be hindering your relationship with Him. Ask God to give you spiritual understanding as you spend time in His Word.
Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart.
"For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin." Psalm 32:3-5

God forgave us when we didn’t deserve it and He asks us to forgive others, even when they don’t deserve it.

· Confess it and receive God’s forgiveness.
· Who are you struggling to forgive?
· Forgive them as God forgave you.
Father, thank you for sending Your son to die on the cross for my sins. I confess there are times when I want my will and not Yours. Thank you for forgiving the guilt of my sin. Examine my heart. Help me forgive those who have wronged me like You have forgiven me. Help me be kind and tender-hearted to those around me today. Amen.
