40 Days of Prayer - Prayer Because of Spiritual Battle - Day 25

Begin your time with God in prayer.
Begin your time with praise to God.  Confess any sin that might be hindering your relationship with Him.  Ask God to give you spiritual understanding as you spend time in His Word.

Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart.

"10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel,. . .’” Ephesians 6:10, 12, 18-19

Where do we find our strength in spiritual battle (10)?

Against whom do we battle (12)?

What weapon has God given us to fight spiritual battles (18-19)?

Apply God’s Word to your life.
· What spiritual battles have you been encountering?
· How do you normally respond to spiritual warfare?
· Spend a few minutes praying for those in the battle for their heart and soul.

Father, I praise You for being the Almighty God.  I am grateful that I can be strong in the strength of Your might. Forgive me for all the times I try to fight spiritual battles in my own strength.  Teach me to call on You in the midst of the battle.  Give me the discipline to pray for those who need to know You.  Amen.
