40 Days of Prayer - Pray for Spiritual Transformation - Day 31

Begin your time with God in prayer.
Begin your time with praise to God. Confess any sin that might be hindering your relationship with Him. Ask God to give you spiritual understanding as you spend time in His Word.

Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart.
Read each of the passages below and note how you can pray for the spiritual growth of the people you know.

"Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved."  Romans 10:1

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”  Matthew 9:36-38

"And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light."  Colossians 1:9-12

Apply God’s Word to your life.
Pick 3-4 people to pray for today.
· Pray that those who don’t know Jesus will be saved.
· Ask God to send out His people to share the love of Jesus
· Pray that the believers you know will be filled with the knowledge of God’s will so that they will live a life that is pleasing to God.

Father, I pray that those who do not know you will be saved. Send out Your people to share the Gospel with them. Help those that accept Your Son to go through 5 Step Follow-Up so they can learn how to grow. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will so they can learn to live a life that will be pleasing to You. Amen.
