Begin your time with God in prayer.
Begin your time with praise to God. Confess any sin that might be hindering your relationship with Him. Ask God to give you spiritual understanding as you spend time in His Word.
Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart.
"Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear." Isaiah 59:1-2
How do iniquities (sins) affect our relationship with God?
What is the result?
"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’" Matthew 7:21-23
Who important truth do these verses bring out?
"No one can come to me (Jesus) unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day." John 6:44
According to John 6:44, how do people come to Christ? Based on that, what can you pray for those who are separated from God?
Apply God’s Word to your life.
· Who can you pray for today who needs God’s blessing?
· Who can you pray for that may not realize they are separated from God?
· Are they on your Pray for 10 list?
Father, Your Word says that no one can come to Jesus unless You draw them. So, I am asking You to draw those on my Pray for 10 list to Your Son. Show them their need for a Savior. Help those that are deceived to see the truth. Use me to love them with Your love. Amen.

"After the Lord had spoken these words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “My anger burns against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has. Now therefore take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves. And my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept his prayer not to deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.” Job 42:7-8
