"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice." Philippians 4:4
Begin your time with God in prayer:
Praise God for who He is. Confess any sin so that nothing blocks your fellowship with Him. Ask God to use the Spirit and the Word to transform your life. Yield your will to God’s will.
Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart:
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits;
3 Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;
4 Who redeems your life from the pit,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
5 Who satisfies your years with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
The Lord is gracious and merciful;
Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.
Apply God’s Word to your life:
- Spend about 5 minutes meditating on Psalm 103 & 145 above. Our God is worthy of praise.
- Focus on being the best you can be today for the glory of God.
Father, You are worthy of praise. Forgive me for grumbling and complaining. Help me to focus my thoughts on You today. Help me to speak words that build others up and give You glory. Amen.
Colossians 3:17 - Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
Revelation 4:11 - Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.
