40 Days of Compassion - Day 41 - Sing the Praise of the Lord
Begin your time with God in prayer.
Praise God for who He is. Confess any sin so that nothing blocks your fellowship with Him. Ask God to use the Spirit and the Word to transform your life.
Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart.
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:4-7
Apply God’s Word to your life.
· Make a list of the blessings you have received from God and rejoice in Him.
· Take the things you are worried about to God in prayer and let His peace rule in your heart.
· Take out your “Pray for 10” list and pray that they would come to know the peace of God.
Father, I praise You. You have been so good to me. Thank you for removing the guilt of my sin, setting me free and making me whole. Help me to give my anxious thoughts to You so that Your peace will rule in my heart. Amen.
