40 Days of Compassion - Day 35 - Love Tells Others About Jesus

Begin your time with God in prayer.
Praise God for who He is. Confess any sin so that nothing blocks your fellowship with Him. Ask God to use the Spirit and the Word to transform your life.

Let God’s Word penetrate your head and your heart.
Recite as much of Mark 12:30-31 as you can.

"All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.  Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.  We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God."  2 Corinthians 5:18-20

We are God’s ambassadors.  He has entrusted us with the message of reconciliation, that peace with God comes through believing in Jesus and accepting His payment for our sins on the cross.  As representatives of God, we have the privilege of sharing His love with a lost and hurting world.  One of the greatest blessings in life is to lead another to faith in Jesus Christ.

Apply God’s Word to your life.
· Thank God for entrusting you with the message of reconciliation.
· Think of yourself as an ambassador for God as you go about your day.
· Look for opportunities to share the love of God.
· Continue taking Spiritual Growth Classes to equip yourself for service.

Father, thank you for entrusting me with the message of reconciliation.  I am both honored and scared.  Fill me with Your Spirit and Your love today.  Help me to see people as Jesus does.  Give me the courage to represent Him well today.  Amen.
